Unlocking Youth-Inclusive Finance
The €100,000 Luxembourg Award For Inclusive Finance 2026, formerly known as the European Microfinance Award, ‘Unlocking Youth-Inclusive Finance' highlights organisations active in financial inclusion that accompany young people as they navigate life’s key stages, helping them develop skills and seize the opportunities needed to build a prosperous future.
The application period is now closed. Thank you to the 95 organisations from 43 countries who applied!
Applicants will be contacted in the first half of May regarding the progress of their application and their potential selection to Round 2.

Favoriser l'Inclusion Financière pour les Jeunes
Le Prix du Luxembourg pour la Finance Inclusive 2026, anciennement connu sous le nom du Prix européen de la Microfinance, « Favoriser l'Inclusion Financière pour les Jeunes » met en lumière les organisations actives dans l’inclusion financière qui accompagnent les jeunes à travers les étapes clés de la vie, en les aidant à développer leurs compétences et à saisir les opportunités nécessaires pour bâtir un avenir prospère.
La période de candidature est maintenant terminée. Merci aux 95 organisations de 43 pays qui ont posé leur candidature !
Les candidats seront contactés dans la première moitié du mois de mai concernant l'avancement de leur candidature et leur éventuelle sélection pour le 2e tour.

El Premio de Luxemburgo para las Finanzas Inclusivas 2026, anteriormente conocido como el Premio Europeo de las Microfinanzas, “Impulsando las Finanzas Inclusivas para la Juventud”, destaca a las organizaciones activas en la inclusión financiera que acompañan a las y los jóvenes mientras atraviesan etapas clave de la vida, ayudándoles a desarrollar habilidades y aprovechar las oportunidades necesarias para construir un futuro próspero.
El periodo para postular ha terminado.¡Gracias a las 95 organizaciones de 43 países que han presentado su candidatura!
Todas las organizaciones candidatas serán contactadas en la primera mitad de mayo e informadas de si han sido seleccionadas para la Ronda 2.
About the Luxembourg Award for Inclusive Finance
The Luxembourg Award for Inclusive Finance (LAIF), formerly the European Microfinance Award, is a prestigious annual €100,000 award, which attracts applications from financial service providers around the world that are innovating in a particular area of financial inclusion. The Award was launched in 2005 by the Luxembourg Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, Defence, Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade (MFA), and is jointly organised by e-MFP, MFA and the Inclusive Finance Network Luxembourg (InFiNe.lu), in cooperation with the European Investment Bank. It serves two parallel goals: rewarding excellence, and collecting and disseminating the most relevant practices for replication by others.
